Our Story
Established in 1991, Miyako Teppanyaki holds the proud title of being the first Japanese restaurant in Birmingham and the very first to open in Chinatown’s Arcadian Centre. For more than three decades, we have welcomed guests from all over the world, introducing them to the flavours, traditions, and theatre of authentic Japanese dining.
What began as a pioneering restaurant has grown into a beloved local institution—known for its warm atmosphere, skilled chefs, and unforgettable Teppanyaki experience.
